Self Study AP Physics C: Mechanics (Please help)

So I'm planning on self-studying AP Physics C: Mechanics this year (my junior year). I haven't taken honors physics yet, but I know all the calculus and stuff already. I'm going to have a friend of mine self study it with me, who has already taken the Honors class and know the calculus much better than I do, helping me out with it. (In case you were wondering, I'm doing this so I don't have to take Honors Physics next year so I can fit in the classes I want to take then).

Anyways, what textbook/prepbook(s) do you suggest? I'm looking at "University Physics" and "Fundamentals of Physics", but I'm open to suggestions!

The fundamentals of physics

  • I think any of the versions are fine because there aren’t too much difference between them unless you buying the first generation ones.
  • The book is really thorough about all of the subject areas that are tested on ap physics c.
  • The book also has answers on the back.
  • I think a bad side to it is that it doesn’t have any step-by-step worked out solutions.
You could also use the Barron’s AP physics C book, which does have worked out solutions.
This answer can apply to any viewer.
