Self Study AP Physics with IB Physics I?

Has anyone taken, or known someone who’s self studied one of the AP Physics exams? I am taking IB Physics, which does not prepare you for the AP exam. If I start studying around now, is it plausible for me to score well come May?

Hello! I am also taking IB physics SL (unfortunately our school does not offer HL) and am currently self studying for the AP physics B exam in may. The most invaluable resource that I have found is this website: https://sites.google.com/site/twuphysicslessons/

The teacher is a wonderful woman and she goes through every topic that will be covered for the AP physics B exam. So for example IB does not cover fluid mechanics, her videos do.

Good luck along with watching videos that you need to learn stuff in or refresh and do practice problems from the past AP exams (its on her website) or she has practice problems on her website as well.

Good Luck!

Thanks, polishmusician17.

I’m taking physics C mechanics…lol I thought physics c was the easier one. Silly me.

Oh, well why didn’t you say so  I am also am planning on taking AP physics C mechanics and the E&M one, I have found this guy who is quite useful for an introduction to calculus based physics:

[Viren’s Videos Free AP Physics Review Help](http://apphysicslectures.com/AP_Physics_Help.html)

Again he does a great job, and from my understanding Mechanics is not too difficult if you are able to understand the concepts so try him and also view some of the other ladies videos if you are having any trouble understanding any of the basics.

Good luck!
