Self-Study AP Statistics

Hello, next year i will be self-studying for the AP Statistics exam. Any advice you guys can give me on what textbooks i should get and reviewing throughout the school year?

The Practice of Statistics (Yates, Moore, Starnes).
[The Practice of Statistics, 2e](http://bcs.whfreeman.com/yates2e/default.asp?s=&n=&i=&v=&o=&ns=0&t=&uid=0&rau=0)
In terms of textbooks, that’s a good one. For review books, I highly recommend 5 Steps to a 5, although most recommend Barron’s.

^I second that textbook recommendation.

For the study guide, I used Barron’s. It’s alright, but the most benefit I received was from the multiple choice practice in each chapter.

When should i order the textbooks and start studying?

That seems pretty straightforward. So from what I’m getting, it’s…

  1. read the textbook
  2. read Barron’s + 5 Steps to a 5
  3. do practice problems
    And that’s it?
