Self-studying an AP such as let's say Physics B won't show on your high school transcript right? My school doesn't offer it and i want to self-study it. Do i just get the book and study? Do i have to sign up to anything on collegeboard? And my school doesn't offer the AP test, what do i do?

basically, can i just study AP Physics by myself and sign up for AP test elsewhere, because my school doesn’t give it? Will it look weird if i get a 5 because AP Physics isn’t on my transcript.

you can do that

I did that with AP Calc. When you take the test in the spring, you still write the name of the school you attend, so the score will appear on your transcript when AP sends the results in the summer to you and your school. It just won’t show that you took a class for it (which you didn’t). It’s fairly common actually.

…just a warning though, AP physics is a hard ap to self-study for. Kudos if you can do it. =]

no i will study with a tutor. so how do i sign up for it at another school?

go to guidance office and ask for a psat booklet/sat one. one of them has a location of every school/location you can take it at.
