Self Study AP World History?

Hello! I am a sophomore currently, and am thinking about taking the AP World History AP Exam not this year, but in the 2015-2016 school year, meaning when I am a junior. I would like to self study since a) all my classes for that year and next are already filled and b) my school no longer offers this class as of this year. However, my former AP Human Geography teacher will be available to help with essay format and any questions, and other students who have taken AP World History last year can be helpful as well. My question is, is this a good idea? I received a 5 in my AP Human Geography Exam with A’s both semesters, and am currently holding an A in APUSH. Next year, I’ll be taking AP Government, AP Econ, 11 AP English, AP Calc AB, and French 3 Honors, along with the ACT exam. . . Will this, along with self studying, be too much to handle? And if not, please give me any advice along the lines of the best textbooks that correlate to the AP exam, review books and any other help you can give! Thanks for your time!

Hello, i took the ap world exam last spring, and although i did take the class, the teacher left some gaps, so i self study a ton for it, and ended up making a 5 on the exam. Its a good bit harder than ap human geo and apush which i have both taken, but isnt impossible to self study for. I would strongly recommend the Barron’s guide to ap world history 6th edition. Also practice writing timed essays, dbq, compare and contrast, and change over time, mentioned in the book
