Self Study AP World History?

I am really interested in learning world history and I want to take the AP test next May. Unfortunately WHAP isn't offered at my school and it doesn't seem like I'm going to be learning much in my World History class. Do you guys have any advice-what books I would need, areas i should focus, etc.

If you just need a quick review a few weeks before the AP test, use the Princeton Review prep book.

I read through the Barron’s book a few weeks before the test and received a 4. I think my problems were (1) that I didn’t give myself enough time and (2) the book covers much more information than you actually need to know for the AP test.

If you want to learn a lot, buy yourself a textbook. My recommendations is The Earth and Its People: A Global History 4/e AP edition. If you want to do it by study guide, barrons is much more informative for PR, so that will help you on the FR.
