I'm planning on self studying one or two AP(s) next year but I'm not really sure which. I want it to be something that interests me though. I was thinking about AP Psychology, AP Macroeconomics, AP Latin: Vergil or AP Music Theory. I'm not sure if I would do self study or take classes at Ohio State, which is right near where I live. Most high schools in the area offer the opportunity to take classes there. Any other suggestions? Including next year, I will already have taken European History, Human Geography, English Language, English Literature, Government, Calculus AB, & Physics B.

So yeah, basically, does anyone know anything about the difficulty of the Macro, Psych, and Music Theory Exams? I've been taking latin for three years, so if I took a college class I don't think it would be a problem...

psych should be easy to study for...music theory has ear training stuff to do, i think there are computer programs you can buy to do ear training...so harder but not impossible....dunno about econ or latin

Thanks, I didn't know that about Music Theory. Anyone else?

If you are going to be a senior next year, then I say you forget about the self studies and just take classes at Ohio State.

If you are going to be a junior next year, then you should self study just 1 (easy) AP, like Psych. and still take classes at Ohio State. Since you already have so many APs under your belt, I don't think it's worth the effort to self study 2 or 3 more. Unless you really really want to.

ap pysch will be really easy... im taking it online now. i have friends that are in music theory and ones that scored really well on the exam from doing online hearing tests and sight singing practice. most of the stuff you need for that one can be found online.

I'm a good sight singer, so that shouldn't be a problem...

That's good about the psych though. I think I'm definitely going to take it, along with probably the macro

I'm self studying for psych this year and its going great! It's not difficult at all you won't have a problem
