I'm planning on taking 7 AP classes next year:
AP Calc AB
AP Language
AP US Gov
AP Psychology
AP Human Geography
AP Biology
AP Environmental science

I was just wondering if having 7 AP classes in school (with homework) would be too much of a problem. Would Environmental Science be easy to self-study if I'm taking Biology in class? Should I self-study Psych and/or Human Geography?

I've heard that AP Environmental is a very easy self-study. Also, from reading on this website, I have heard that a lot of colleges don't even give credit for APs such as Psychology or Human Geography. The whole point of APs is to get college credit in HS. If I were you, I would self-study APES and not AP Psych or AP Human Geo.

The college that I'm planning on going to gives credit for both. I might as well take psych and human geo in class, otherwise my counselor will bog me down with pointless electives...

Depends on what you want to major. If you want to go into the humanities, study AP ES on your own. Otherwise you can do AP Geography. But both are known as the "weak" APs. So if you choose to take all 7, I think i'll do fine.

I plan on majoring in science, but wouldn't APES be easier to self study, since I'm taking AP Biology? I thought there was a lot of overlapping material between the two classes.
