I have a question- I have a really boring schedule for my senior year (I've taken all sciences and all but 1 of my schools math classes), and we don't have any other APs left for me to take... I was wondering if it would be worth it to self study for an AP exam in senior year? I could also do an online course if that looks better to colleges. But I'll have no proof that I'm actually doing any scientific work in school... Also, the colleges I'm looking at accept almost no AP credit.

So should I self study some APs just to have something to do all year? Or take an online class? Or just do nothing?

Thanks

Whether you want to self-study APs to keep yourself busy is your own personal preference. I don’t know about online classes, but if you just self-study APs on your own (with no class) then it will not benefit you admissions-wise.

you didn’t really give us enough info. what aps? what online classes?

To have something to do? It sounds like a great idea. That said, it won’t help you in your applications unless you explain how the subject matter it covers - and your study of it - ties into your well-established interests and passions. However, if you work hard enough with it, you may be able to milk some college credit out of it as well as learn more about the world and yourself.
