If I have no prior experience with art and read The Annotated Mona Lisa: A Crash Course in Art History from Prehistoric to Post-Modern 2-3 times (memorizing it of course), can I expect to get at 4-5 on the AP Art History test?

bumpers…

does anyone know???

I won’t say impossible, because some may have done it. Given that 60% of the APAH grade is from the 2 long and 7 short essays, it might be helpful to refer to the Barron’s and REA study guides for AP Art History. In 2008, 11.5% of students taking the test revceived a 5 and 21.2% got a 4. Most of those probably sat through a 9 month classroom course.

D is considering taking it now because she’s having some scheduling problems. Our district offers it as an online course. She’s curious as to how challenging this class will be. Not looking for a blow off course.
