Self Study-best books?

I've been contemplating the idea of self study for a while now.Now I'm going book hunting. What are the best books for Environmental Science,World History and Spanish Literature??

Please and thanks.

I hope Half.com decides to be my friend again.

there’s a big post on that, but the only real consensus that you can get from reading the thread is that different people have different preferences for books. For ES I recommend that you just buy a used college textbook for the price of a study guide.

i would totally love to be able to help you, but i’ve never taken any of those APs. all i can tell you is that my world history textbook was Spielvogel, 1999. here’s a link on half.com to it: http://product.half.ebay.com/Modern-World-History_W0QQtgZinfoQQprZ1670704

IMO, it’s a really good textbook. it never once made me fall asleep.

I wish I could help you, but I haven’t taken any of these. There are a lot of threads on this, so you might want to look at those, or, as dchow08 says, get some used textbooks.

i would want to know a good prep book for world history also, our teacher is making us get one
