i plan on self-studying for the ap bio exam and scoring at least a 3. does anyone know how plausible it is to pass using solely prep books (cliffs, pr, etc.)? can anyone give me advice as to what prep books i should read (would cliffs be enough) so that i can at least get a 3?

i've heard of people using cliffnotes only & getting a 4-5. is there any way you can get a textbook to have additional information? those books are supposed to be supplements to the actual course, but since you're doing self-study, you might wanna try getting a textbook or just stick with cliffnotes. haha. :D

your best bet is to check the local library for a bio textbook or if your school offers AP bio, ask to borrow one of their textbooks.

bio would be a pain in the ass to self-study for, but the Cliffnotes books has gotten reviews from people who claim to have gotten 4s and 5s simply using the book
