i have a grasp on chem. Took the regular course 2 years ago. Is it possible to use Kaplan and Barrons to score 700+? I got 2 shots...oct and nov. -or- should i just not do it, cuz chem (for me) will be my 4th sat II? BTW...i think i need this chem test...if im gonna major in the health/medical field. Feedback plez.

Well... I took chem last summer... did a small amount of review (no more than 2-3 hours total, I think) for the May test date and scored 660. So, you could probably pull 700+ if you have a "grasp on chem" and do some serious study (in other words, start NOW).

I am quite interested in this also. Is barrons the best? I HAD some knowledge of chem, lost it two years ago.

For the chem SAT II, I recomend the combination of 2 books. AP chemistry princeton review which is awesome , much better than the SATII princeton. And Sparknotes SATII chemistry. Those are the two best book out there. Barrons blows. Youll understand the concepts rly well from both books and sparknotes has a rly good descriptive chemistry section unlike the others.
