I was thinking of self-studying Comparative Gov next year. I'll be in 5 or 6 other AP courses, including US gov. Would this be an easy self-study? I'm also considering either self-studying either APES, Art History, or World History. What books or study tools are best for comp gov? THANKS!! :)

I’m studying comp. gov also. not sure how easy it’ll be or the best books…lol i’m also self-studying apes and art history, and taking world history as a class. Took US gov this year so our similarity ends there i guess…

I recommend the prep book by Ethel Wood. Granted, I took it twice with just that for prep, and got a 4 each time. That’s likely entirely my fault, though (I suck at anything involving politics), since a few friends of mine did the same and got 5s.

I decided just to order the Ethel Wood book and then the Kesselman book! Hopefully they will be enough!

I used Ethel Woods’ book and got a 4. And that was after blanking out when I saw any question on Mexico. If you study the book well, you should get a 5!

I crammed the weekend before (briefing papers saved my as*) and got a 5.
