Self-Study Econ

To idioteque75:

As for what will yield a higher grade, in my opinion, it is the macro exam......i kinda got stumped and only barely made it through micro. The reason for this is that macro is more of general logical concepts with only a handful of almost resembling graphs, whereas micro is (more like physics) highly graph oriented and "mathematical".

I think the PR book is the best source for the MARCO exam. For the micro exam, use it only if you are forced to cram for whatever reason, time or so. Otherwise, I would suggest using barron's too for micro, since it covers a lot of micro stuff not covered in the PR microeconomics section.

thanks for the advice!

I think I'll end up taking macro and getting the princeton review book

good luck to everyone!!

Oh come on......I bet you can study the entire micro section too and get at least a 4.

Do remember that the grading curve for this exam is massive and sooo ridiculously easy. Even if you have just read the book once (but thoroughly), you should at least score a 4, or better, a 5, on the exam.
