Can anyone suggest a textbook and review book I can use to self-study micro/macroeconomics?

Use the Princeton Review and Barron prep guides for the AP exams for both of them since you don't really need a textbook for them!

Really? That's awesome. Thanks for the reply. :)

You don't really need the textbook, as the material is pretty short. But I don't reccomend the PR book. Too much stuff that isn't on the test.

McConnell Brue was the textbook I used. . . I thought PR was great for micro

Textbook I used was Economics Today by Roger Leroy Miller
I used Princeton Review to review.

Don't use Principles of Economics by N. Gregory Mankiw. For micro, it wasn't bad... but macro... ugh shudders. Not really geared for AP.

Definitely look for a textbook that comes with an online interactive site, though. I used one for bio and the self-check tests/activities really help you know how well you're learning the material.

PR is good for micro, but not so good for macro. The macro material reviewed probably only showed up in 15 of the 60 questions this year. Never tried Barron's.

McConnell was great - very entertaining
