Self Study for AP Tests!

So, my Junior year schedule is full, but I want to self study for some more AP tests. Here is a list of the ones I am considering:

AP u.s. history
AP World History
AP Macro/Micro
AP Art history
AP psych
AP environmental science
Ap American/comparative govt.
AP stats

I am pretty motivated, straight A student, ect. Does anyone have suggestions for any of these, such as study books, textbooks, resources....

Don’t self study US History or Art History. You’re crazy if you want to do that.
The others are fine, World History and the Govt exams will be the hardest.

APUSH isn’t that hard to self study. It’s juts memorization. Plus, you probably already took US History in 8th grade.

Art History I’d be more concerned about.

Macro/Micro are definitely possible, I was able to do that and got a 4 and 5 respectively.
I think Psych would be possible too, and maybe Stats or possibly Environmental science.
Past there I would think it would get much more challenging. If you’re completely not sure, I would suggest thinking about if you will receive credit in the end to the college you are considering, if any.

Psychology and Environmental Science are typically the easiest to self-study for. But please, don’t feel like you have to go out of your way to cram as many extra AP courses as possible into what I assume is already a busy schedule.

Ya… Self-studying Art History = death. Don’t do it.

Self-studying Art History is OK…if you’re an art fanatic who has way too much free time.

Just do Psych if you’re a humanities person or Enviro/Stats if you’re a math person. Don’t self-study too many.

AP u.s. history - Not bad, as long as you’re good with memorization. And DON’T PROCRASTINATE. Would have saved me so much sanity if I did.
AP World History - Probably similar to APUSH. No personal experience. Probably fine if you’re a history buff.
AP Macro/Micro - I’ve heard of a lot of people doing this and studying a week before. They all got 5s.
AP Art history - Taking this right now, and the textbook is huge. Once again memorization oriented but fun nevertheless. Must be motivated.
AP psych - Easy studying night or a few nights before should guarantee a 5.
AP environmental science - Probably another one those week in advance studies.
Ap American/comparative govt. - No idea. Heard the class is a joke.
AP stats - The class is a joke. aka HowtoUseYourCalc 101

I am considering self studying for a psyc. AP

Comparative Gov’t, didn’t study and got a 4. But I took the class with a horrible teacher.

Taking US Gov’t as well.

You can self study for them.

How about AP biology Self study, anyone try this?

Self studying bio right now. However, I already had honors bio so I basically know it all already.
It’s not difficult.

APUSH - memorization. I’m not gifted in history (ugh, hate dates; got a 4) but if you’re good at it, it’s not that bad. AMSCO is wonderful though, if you’re going to take the exam (only book I used).

AP US Govt. - all I really remember from 9th grade was that I BS’d the essay about senate vs. house of representatives, lol. Don’t know how I got a 5 but it seemed easier than APUSH.

AP Art History - I took a look at the textbook and gave up. I had a couple friends who tried to study for it about two weeks before the test and they ended up with 3’s… TONS of memorization.

I’m also planning on self-studying for psych and maybe enviro-science because I’ve heard those are easy. (:

right now i have the APUSH textbook and am getting notes from someone in the class. I am also taking a regular psych course so the AP Psych test will be easy. Plus, i heard that ap psych and env. science are super easy tests.
