Self-study for AP US Gov't

Is it a hard exam to self-study for? What books and other resources do you recommend? For those of you who have self-studied for this course in the past, was it difficult to find time to balance this class along with the other AP courses you were taking in school?

Thanks :)

I want to self-study for this class as well. Actually, I am taking an honors Gov't/econ class so it will prepare me just a bit for it. Looking at the information about it on the CB website, it doesn't seem all that difficult. I answered half the questions correctly just by guessing logically and some of them are pretty apparent if you are into politics, or even if you sometimes watch CNN and read the newspaper.

I didn't study at all for it and got a four. I think the best thing is review the constitution and watch the news frequently. CSPAN too if you enjoy it.

I used the Princeton Review book for like 2 weeks, and I likely got a 5 (not calling b/c I only took two tests)
