Hi I'm going to self study for either or both European History and World History AP (cuz they're not offered at my school and also cuz I just love history and know a lot already through an abundant amount of reading) so I was wondering which books and other things I should use to study
Thanks

Self study for APEH, not APWH, APWH is TOOOO hard!

i self studied for APWH, APEH and got 5s on both. Its a lot of work but doable...APUSHIST is hard, but a friend selfstudied and got a 5

are essays in the aforementioned ap tests?

yeah..about 50% of all of them

All of them can be self studied if you learn how to write DBQ's for each one specifically.

ryan2288 makes a really good point- all teh DBQs have very different matrixes and if your dont do each the right way you could get ****ED

I'm self studying Euro this year. I'm using Mckay's "Western Civilization Since 1300," along with the REA and Princeton Review prep books. I think for self studying it helps to have review books with you throughout the year to make sure you're stacking on track with the AP curriculum and studying everything you'll need for the test.

I'm taking AP US History this year and well it is a LOAD of work...
