Self study for latin ap exam

hello everyone!

so I am currently a junior and I am taking Latin 2 which i really enjoy. I want to see and try if i can get into an Ivy League, but i can take only 3 years of latin at the most. I am thinking of taking latin 3 next year, and self studying for the AP Latin exam senior year. I know the exam is hard, but do you think the colleges I am applying to will consider this at all, or is it a waste to do it senior year, since they can't see my AP scores?

Also do u have any advice for actually self-studying the AP Latin Exam?

Please let me know your thoughts on this idea. I really would appreciate it.

Thanks in advance!

Talk to a Latin teacher and see if he/she has any tips for you, suggestions, or will be willing to help you out if you need it.

My .02 Worth.

self studying APs is pointless admissions-wise. it can help get you credits after you’re accepted somewhere, but it won’t help you get accepted
