Self Study??? Help

What some good AP classes to self study for? I have already taken ap world and I am scheduled to take apush, ap chem, ap calc ab, and ap lang next year. Any suggestions? Also how would/have you gone about doing this? Results on your AP test?

What are your reasons for self-studying AP exams? What sort of time are you willing to put into it? What subjects are you interested in but unable to take an AP course in? Taking AP exams for the sake of taking AP exams isn’t always a great idea, especially if you find the workload for the courses you’re actually taking to get more difficult.

With that said, many people on here have mentioned AP Statistics being easy (and I can confirm that an upper level college statistics course is not too challenging either). Is there a foreign language you may know well enough to take an exam in?

I somewhat self-studied AP Latin Literature (when it existed) because I didn’t have room in my schedule to take the course and classics was my intended major. I got the textbooks and tried to work through them, although I found I didn’t have enough time to do so effectively. It was my worst AP score and I didn’t learn much from it, although I’ll still receive college credit for it. So I consider myself to have gotten practically nothing out of it, since college credit was never my goal.

I am interested in macro/micro economics, human geography, and gov. and politics.

If you’re interested in those, have time, and are otherwise unable to study those in high school, it may be worth considering self-studying for the AP exams in such subjects (for example, the econ exams). And keep in mind that the AP exam doesn’t necessarily test how well you know the material, so you may end up with knowledge deficiencies if you try to use them for placement in college.

Thank you for your advice. I really appreciate it.
