<p>I'm a junior and I want to self study ES while taking AP Bio this year. The only thing
I'm concern about is that it is offered at my school, but is currently filled up.
I don't want colleges to think I just self-studied it because I didn't like the teacher.</p>

<p>I doubt colleges would just jump to that wild conclusion - lots of people self-study. If you want to do it, go ahead - it can only make you look better, if anything.</p>
<p>If you're really worried, you can also add a note on the app about why you didn't take the class.</p>

<p>I don't think they would even check your school's schedule. I could be wrong though.</p>
<p>I don't think colleges will think that. Plenty of people self-study for the AP's.</p>
