<p>I need to take either one of these. I'm in AP Lang/Comp, and I expect to get a 5, but I am by no means a "lit kid". I'm only in honors history, not AP. The honors history curriculum is less demanding but uses the same textbook as AP.</p>
<p>I was originally thinking I'd take LIT but i've heard terrible stories about how difficult it is.</p>
<p>Which one would be more manageable if I study over the summer?</p>
<p>You NEED to take either? Why? If you're taking US History, take the US History subject test. You don't need to take AP to do well. And why take it after the summer? Take US History in the June subject tests.</p>
<p>I need two SATII's and I'm already taking Math. I feel that I could perform best on Lit and Hist. I can't take hist in June because I don't think I'll be prepared enough.</p>

<p>I've also taken SAT Lit. strangely enough, and it is not hard at all. I made a 700 with no prep, so I'm sure you could do better with a little prep. Who told you it was so difficult? Hahaha</p>
