What's a good book for self-studying econ? PR...Barrons...REA?

I've heard Barron's.

Is Macro/Mirco one of those easier AP tests to self-study? because I'm really into economics but our school does not offer it. :(

^^ I think so. I'm currently taking AP Econ this semester and the concepts are rather easy. It definitely wouldn't be very difficult to understand everything without the class. As long you're able to understand movements or shifts of a curve you should be okay. Hopefully I don't jinx myself.

I can imagine it would be pretty easy to self-study. Econ is quite theory based. If you understand the theory you'll be fine.

I'm taking micro online, which is almost like self-studying, and the concepts are fairly easy for me to grasp on my own. It's not like chemistry or calculus courses, where a teacher would help significantly.

Although, If you are going to self-study, it would be helpful to have someone who is familiar with economics that you can consult if you stumble across something confusing.
