Hi everyone, I need some advice because I decided to self-study 5 AP classes this year (rising junior) to improve my college app, because I really like these subjects, and some will help me in extracurricular activities that I do.

My dilemma is that I cannot figure out if I need a textbook for these classes or not, so what I'm going to do is list the class and then tell you what books I'm going to be using.

I would really appreciate if you all could tell me if just those books are enough to get a 5 or if I need to get better prep books or a textbook.

Thank you all so much!

So here goes,

Psychology: Barron's with Barron's Flashcards
Environmental Science: Smartypants, Princeton Review, Barron's Flashcards
Statistics: Barron's
Macroeconomics/Microeconomics: Princeton Review supplemented with 5 Steps to a 5

Do I need a textbook or any more review books for any of the classes.

Psychology: Barron’s with Barron’s Flashcards
Environmental Science: Smartypants, Princeton Review, Barron’s Flashcards
Statistics: Barron’s
Macroeconomics/Microeconomics: Princeton Review supplemented with 5 Steps to a 5
^ Don’t waste your time with flashcards.
All you need for a 5 on AP psych is the Barron’s study guide.

Not sure for APES (taking that this year as well)
Not sure for stats either (taking that this year as well. Using Barron’s and khanacademy videos), but I have heard from my cousin and his friends that Barron’s is good.
Macro/micro: That should be sufficient, but you should watch the youtube video with all of the graphs you will need to know for the exams.
I also found khanacademy videos helpful in my studies. I am taking both of the economics exams this year, but my friend took them last year using just PR and 5 steps to a 5. She got two easy 5’s.
