Hey everyone! I am currently taking AP physics c at my school, but the teacher sucks. He doesn't know anything about physics. He doesn't even know what's on the AP. we have already wasted 1 month learning about series and parallel circuits. not only that, but we are learning from a physics b book. Do you guys think that i could study for the ap on my own using the barron's prep book? tHanks

From what my class has learned so far in Physics C I imagine its possible to self teach the majority of it. But I've already taken Physics B, C is just Physics B Plus calculus. If you never took B it'll be a challenge.

ALSO Since there are 2 AP's you can just focus on either Electricity/Magnetism OR Mechanics.

use barron's book for learning, pr for questions

Self-studying AP Physics is definitely doable, but don't expect it to be fun. I'd suggest finding a good textbook in addition to the prep books other people reccomended. Unfortunately, I don't have any reccomendations for texts except not to get Knight, at least if you're planning to do E & M.

All I know is that my textbook is AWFUL
