Hey I'm planning on doing some 'self study' over the break while doing some summer programs and etc.
What books you guys reccomend using esp. if you really haven't even thought about SAT's? ACT books?

I'm just planning on doing some practice stuff everyday and needed something that would help through that way.

So any good SAT or ACT books I can/should get?

CollegeBoard’s Official SAT Study Guide, known as the BB (Blue Book) in CC

Princeton’s 11 Practice Tests

DirectHits Vocab

^are PR 11 Prac. Tests very accurate? I actually have that, but I didn’t know how accurate they are.

So how are the books like? Like are they like text books at school? Basic idea of it and then a bunch of problems to solve? Or… These things sound kinda difficult for me soo…

Well, the BB gives tells you how to solve each problem in the first chapter. Then it gives 8 practice tests (w/ answers but no explanations)

The PR 11 tests are just 11 tests with explanations.

I found the PR 11 tests decently accurate.

The point of the taking practice tests is improvement, not to guess your score. If your score goes up everytime you take a PR test, I’m sure you’ll do fine on the SATs.
