Hi,

Just wondering if anyone is planning on self-studying anything their senior year because I kind of wanted to, however, since it will not show up on the college apps I don't know if I should put in the effort.

Why would you want to do this?

I’m considering it; depending on the colleges I apply to I might self-study Enviro if I need it to get out of a science requirement. But beyond that, there’s no real reason to self-study an AP senior year if you don’t need the credit.

The only reason to self study your senior year is if you want college credit… (you know like the test are really intended for)

Hmm…So from the overall feedback, don’t self-study? For a lot of the private colleges, APs only help with the application process but isn’t really counted for credit, so self-study would be a total waste but for public ones they’ll let me not take the classes…
