Self Study .. which one?

I'm thinking about self-studying two AP courses to make up for no AP's in my sophomore year.

Firstly, if colleges see that a student didnt take an AP course but still took an AP test and got a 4-5 on it, do they view the student as motivated?

Secondly, I'm taking bio this year, and just to see what its like I did the HUGE bio summer assignment. So which two are the better options.
In my school you must take a summer test to qualify for Calc AB, and then BC is offered in senior. Unfortunately, I was at a summer program during the test date. So im in calc this year, and was thinking of taking the Calc AB test?? But i;ve heard the BC test has a greater curve.

Is it possible to self study for the BC test and manage to get a 4-5 on it without taking AB nor finishing calc?

What would be an easier course to self study, AP Bio, or AP Chem?? Or would AP physics be the best option (looking at astronomy/astrophysics as a major).

Any help would be appreciated = )

Ap Bio is easier to self-study. Chem and Physics= LOTS OF CONCEPTS. Self Studying BC is a good idea, but don't slack off till march or may. Start ASAP. Also macro/micro economics, human geo, and psycology are easy to self study. I think colleges will notice that one took a test w/o the course, and probably will see some motivation, but it won't act as a big factor.

thx alot.
i probably forgot to mention this but i've taken both chemistry and physics, and as a junior am taking Bio. I think physics is out, because I plan on taking the AP course as a senior. Im taking bio this year, and took chemistry last year.
Is it still a wise idea taking bio??

O, and by any chance do you know any textbooks that would help for BC?

I self-studied AP Human Geography, World History, and US History. None of them were particularly difficult, 5's on the first two, 4 on the latter.

wow thats impressive for one year.

By the way, do teachers mind if you take the AP test without taking their AP course??
They might feel that the student may get a 2-3 on the test and make me look bad ??

Who cares about your teachers. You're taking the tests because you want to.

AP Microeconomics and Calculus BC
