So I'm planning to attempt a self-study in AP Comparative Government & Politics. I am a freshman in high school and this will be my first AP class ever. I'm really excited to give this a shot because my school doesn't offer many AP classes. I want to see if I can pull this off on my own so that I will be able to get more AP classes in. I guess my question is, do you guys have any tips on how I should go about studying/preparing for, and taking this exam. Any advice anyone could give me would be great :)

Hey! Congratulations on getting started so early in your high school career.

Pick up Ethel Wood’s book (the latest edition), and read that from cover to cover: [Amazon.com: Used and New: AP Comparative Government and Politics: a Study Guide, 4th edition](http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/0974348171/ref=dp_olp_used?ie=UTF8&condition=used)

Also, browse around on the AP forum for some hints. It’s not the hardest subject to self-study, so you should do well if you’re diligent. Good luck!

Self study AP Physics C its easy

Thank you smorgasbord, I ordered the book today and it should arrive soon, hopefully within a couple of days.

Intellexi, are you sure? While I don’t struggle in science at all, it isn’t my best subject. Is AP Physics C only easy if you enjoy science?

Thanks for the input!

AP Physics C is known as one of the hardest AP Exams.

Unless you have a relatively solid background in physics and calculus, don’t self-study.

Comp Gov is so easy…go search up Ethel Woods’s book. So good. You should get a 5 just by reading it.

Yeah… the Ethel Wood book is a must for the exam.

I didn’t use mine…and I foolishly got a 4.

Wow is the book really that good?
