I am a soph and intrested in physics. I was wondering if anyone had self-studied for the physics sat2 exam. If so, what book(s) did you use? Would it be possible for me (having not taken a previous physics course in high school) to be ready for the Jan 22 administration?

bump................

Mm... I think Jan. 22nd is a bit too early if you're just starting now. I would suggest some high school physics textbook and skip anything that requires math (since SAT II physics bans the use of a calculator). That is, if you're self-studying SAT II physics for the sake of taking the exam.As for prep books, Barron's is structued very much like a textbook and you'll learn everything you need to learn using it solely. But it also contains a lot of unnecessary info.
