How do you sign up for that sort of thing?

You talk to your AP coordinator at your school before March and tell him or her that you want to self-study an AP test(s), and then they'll order them for you. And then your school will arrange where you take your test or whatever - Like most people at my school take AP tests at somewhere outside of our school, but I just took mine in a guidance counselor's office, since I was the only one who took it.

you study for it... and tell your AP coordinator and then pay for it...

Yeah there's no "sign-ups". It's self study so everything is by yourself except when you tell your school that you're going to need to take that test and pay for it.

What about the grade?

it comes in your grade report...

I think she means the "school grade" for the class "self-study." In that case, then there is no grade that you obtain for self-studying. You self-study like an extra curricular and ONLY get an AP grade for it. Hope that helps.

But... if I'm wrong, then the poster above has the answer to where you recieve your AP grade.

How do you sign up for that though?

you register for the AP exam through your school...ask your HS guidance counselor for more information
