self study

i want to take the ap psych test
its feb. and i wanna take the test in may,
do i have the time to self study?
if i use something like barrons or kaplan or etc is that enough to get a 5?
and which one is the besT?

I certainly hope you have time, because my son wants to self study for this test, too. :-)

The Barrons book is highly recommended on the consolidated AP study books thread on this forum; of course, that's not the one I bought for him.... but it's in my Amazon cart now.

You might like the free podcasts of basic psych lectures from Berkeley that are available on iTunes. See UC Berkeley on iTunes U for them.

I hope you have enough time too as I'm going to self-study too. I'd recommend you read through the newest edition of David G. Myers "Psychology". It's a really great textbook-fun too read too.

a] it's never too late

b] i use barrons for all my APs
