Self Study

Just wondering would colleges not like it if you self study A.P. or other courses. I think some colleges wouldn't like it.

Also do you really learn all the material that you would if you took a class. I was just thinking of that. Reply thanks

Self studying shows initiative and interest. Colleges love that, unless if it's at the expense of other activities and interests. Make sure you'll be able to handle it if you decide to self study - and start early.

The amount of material you cover depends completely on your effort, and somewhat on the subject. For example, you may not cover exactly the same topics as a class would for US History, but you definitely would (or should) for Statistics. All that matters, though, is that you know enough to score well on the exam.
