<p>I would like to Self Study a AP course next year how would u self study?! Im confuseD b/c my private school doesnt have any AP/IB classes my old school was one of those school with HIgh college Admissions rates... and many IB(and one AP) courses...not all the colleges were great and we had a few doing community but quite a few went to some pretty good colleges. THe sucky thing though is my new school not a ton of kids plan on going to college from then...and its very small school(90 in a school of Grades 5-12!!!!) I mean i came in this year w/ a group of 13 by the end of the year there will b probably 15(one kid visited the other day for 2 days didnt come one day to decide to go came back today and is now a permanent member of my school and one other kid is thinking of coming to my grade) And yes i do plan on going some where other then community or a easy to get into school</p>
<p>uhhh delete about half that post its not needed :) but yeah if it were me Id focus more on other things like EC's and community service...you should take advantage of the fact that ur school doesnt offer AP's by...well not taking them! Technically it wont hurt you in admissions if colleges see you cant take any.</p>

<p>yeah but if hes going to self study just one AP it doesnt seem like that big of a deal to me but sure I guess he can take more on later.</p>
