Hello. I'm a newbie here and I hope somebody will be able to answer my question.

I want to self-study AP Psychology. I was wondering how to go about this. Do I have to notify the school right now or can I just wait until it's time to register for the AP Exams?

Thank you to all those who can answer my question. (:

If you’re taking another AP class then your AP teacher will probably give you the “AP Exam Registration” sheet and you can add AP Psychology on there and you’ll probably be good. If you’re not taking another AP course, just find out who runs the AP Exam Registration and notify them that you’ll want to take the AP Psychology exam.

They should give a registration sheet a month before the AP tests but you can always check the counselors if they have any rules against it (They shouldn’t).

I talked to the AP Coordinator at my school and she said it was Ok as long as I register and pay during the designated period. Thanks for all your help.
