Self-Studying AP Econ?

i'm starting to think about self-studying AP econ since i won't have a chance to take it in high school (i'm a junior but my senior schedule is full), so i was wondering:

is it ok to start self-studying econ this late, with only 4 months? i'm already taking APUSH and self-studying AP US Gov't, though i've been studying for those 2 for a little while and i feel confident that i can do well on them and i might have time to study for something else

what's the difference b/w micro and macro econ, and which is easier to study on your own?

thanks for your feedback! =)

both are easy studies IMO. Micro deals with economics on a personal level and macro deals with economics on a large scale (ie. governments).

4 months is enough time imo. Spend 1 month reading the textbook, spend the next month reviewing and spend the last month taking practice exams and the few weeks before the exam spend doing flash card review (or whatever review works best for you).

Would it be possible to start studying for both of the Economics and U.S. Government and Politics now?

yeah, i’ve been studying gov (not that intensely yet) for a few months and i could start studying for econ this weekend. would that give me enough time, and would i have enough time to study and do well on all 3 of them? (i’d be aiming for a 5 in APUSH since i took the class and at least 4s in the other two, since i’m guessing if i self study 4s will still look good, though obviously 5s would be great)

We’re on the same boat. I am self-studying for AP Micro & AP HuG

Economics is very conceptual so you have to get what it’s all about.

I think if you start now, you could get at least a 4.
