Hello! My schedule next year is heavily dependent upon my acceptance to the GA Tech Distance Calculus Course. I’ll explain further with each option.
With Acceptance (ideal):
Online: AP French (I cannot take it at my school… My math class must be second period in either case)
2: Tech Math
3: AP Literature
4: Philharmonic Orchestra
5: AP Gov/AP Macro (semester courses)
6: Lunch
7: AP Psychology
However… If I don’t get accepted, I am faced with the following.
1: AP Gov/AP Mac
2: Multivariable Calculus
3: AP LIt
4: Phil Orchestra
5: Music History
6: Lunch
7: AP Psych
AP French self-studied… My french teacher has offered to teach myself and two others after school if we need help. She’s offered to check out a textbook and workbook to me and answer any questions that I have as well as to read through any essays. I’m very nervous about this option, but I’m almost equally as nervous about taking such a course online.
Music History was my filler class… I could have chosen AP Chem, but with working and self-studying, as well as running several clubs, I didn’t want to stack my schedule any further. Thoughts? Any advice on self-studying AP French?
