Self Studying AP-HELP

I plan to self study Psychology, and one Economics.

First, is studying solely the Barron's Psychology prep book enough for getting a 5? If not, what other study guides or textbooks should I use?

Second, which economics (Macro or Micro) is easier, seeing that i am completely new to the topic and have never taken any course on it? Or are they the same?

Third, what study guides/textbooks should I use for Macroeconomics/Microeconomics? I heard PR is good for Micro, is it also good for Macro?

Thanks a bunch!

For psych, Barron's is DEFINITELY enough. However, if you want to really learn psychology, and not just learn the minimum that you need to get a 5, you should get a textbook. Psychology (7th or 8th edition is fine) by David G. Myers is perfect.

umm, macro is supposed to be easier i heard (hence no personal experience)

thanks. what books should i use for macro and micro economics? anyone?

i heard PR is pretty good
check the "Consolidated Book List" at the top of this forum

I did, but there was no concrete answer. i know PR is pretty good for micro but do i still need textbook for supplement? and what about macro?

i guess your answer would depend a little on your preference in subjects.

micro deals more with the innerworking of types of markets, and involves more math.

on the other hand, macro deals with national/international relations, and involves more government type things.

that being said, both are relatively easier compared to other APs, and PR is a good book for both. it just depends on what interests you more.
