Self Studying AP Human Geography?

Hi~

So I am currently a sophomore taking AP World History, and unfortunately my school does not offer AP Human Geography; however, they are letting me take the AP exam.

I have The Cultural Landscape: 9th Edition and am planning to buy a review book as the exam approaches. Are there any other resources that you would recommend? Will my knowledge in AP World History aid me in studying APHG? Any advice in studying for APHG?

But why? There are very few colleges that accept the credit and exams are expensive.

I wouldn’t recommend it. APHUG scores are rarely accepted. Even then, most of the time you’re only given elective credit. Taking the exam will not give you a boost in admissions.

Colleges would rather see you do something more worthwhile with your time than cram from a prep book, especially for these “easy” APs.
