Self-studying AP Human Geography

I'm a freshman with a quite difficult courseload in my large public school.
I have PAP English 1, PAP Biology, PAP World Geography, AP Calculus BC, and French 2, along with three electives. World Geo is the easiest core class that EVERYONE has to take in their freshman year, and almost EVERYBODY aces it. Heck, it's easier than most of my middle school's social studies classes.

I just took my SAT 2 in Math 2 yesterday, and today, I'm studying for the SAT Subject Tests in Biology and Physics (that I'm taking this spring). And I absolutely have to study for an exam that will let me to skip Physics (this summer).

Should I self-study the AP Human Geography exam? Approximately 24,000 freshman across the US are taking that as their social studies course, and I don't want to be left out of the fun! I heard that all you need is to read the Barrons book once or twice to get a 5 on it. Is that true?

Thanks!

That’s what i’m doing, so hopefully it works.
