Self studying AP Maco/Micro econ: Questions!!

Hi! I’ve just decided that I might be interested in self studying either Micro and Macro economics or both, so I have a few questions…

Which one should I do first - I’m thinking Macro because it’s more general, right? Would that be a better choice to self study?

How different are the two subjects and how difficult are they? Is it easy enough to self study and still do better than average (get a 4 or a 5) or is it impossible without taking the class?

What books or materials would you recommend in studying for the course?

Thank you so much for all your help guys!

Bump? :) Sorry, I'd like some answer today so I can see what I need to do as soon as possible! Thanks in advance!

i'd go with micro first. about supply and demand curve, the firm, price and elasticity...then go to macro - unemployment, GDP, etc.

Okay, thanks a ton! Do you think I should just do one of the AP tests or if Im selfstudying do both?

Level of difficulty/books to buy?

Thanks!

do both if you can, i'd say.

i personally like textbooks written by American authors. i find them easier to understand. maybe becauyse i don't like classroom lecture styles.

Okay, thank you very much! Any specific textbook names?
