Hi everyone!
Next year I am self-studying ap psychology. I was wondering what the best textbook you would recommend for me. Also, I was thinking of getting the Princeton review for a prep book. What prep book do you think was best to help you study?
Thank you.
Either prep book is fine. Personally, I used Barron’s. Any fairly recent psychology text will be fine; I used Myers’ Psychology although you really do not need a text to do well on the exam.
And also how would you guys recommend studying? I’ve heard that this is one of the easiest exams. I’m also taking Ib next year so is it easy enough where I can start studying the month before even with the IB workload, or should I do some of it during the summer? Thanks
I took it last year and got a 5 purely through notecards. I read 2 or 3 different books and made them. With your lack of time however, I would look into quizlet. It’s ALL vocab. Last year, the second half of the free response was based on if you knew the difference between authoritarian v. authoritative parents.
Sweet! Seriously, authoritative vs. authoritarian parents? Awesome, that’s so easy! 5, here I come! (Really praying for one) Thanks! I will definitely look into the notecards
JK, I really need to stop being overconfident. I just really hoping for a five.
