Yeah so i'm thinking of self-studying AP Psychology.. any ideas on how to do this?

I self-studied, and I made a five. All I did was read half the of the Barron's study guide the night before the exam, and the other half that morning (it was a noon test). The exam is SUPER easy. The multiple choice is a breeze, and the free response questions aren't difficult at all.

The psych exam is SUPER easy. :] Just know the vocab.

meadow, I'm self-studying Psychology as well; I believe I have a slightly different approach though.

I'm not doing it for the score so much as for the actual knowledge itself - there's a really wonderful textbook, "Psychology, 8th Ed. in Modules" by David G. Myers. I don't know if the Edition is really relevant, but I don't know if any of the other editions have it in modules, which is the important part. He breaks them up into 10-20 page modules that are easy to digest and understand, and I really feel like I've learned so much from the course in the first 5 modules.I just read one every other night, and then there are quizzes and worksheets available online. I haven't tried any of the worksheets but the quizzes probably are AP level I would say. There's two per chapter and I'm keeping up with all the grades I make on the quizzes.

So yeah, if you just want credit, which is totally understandable, just go with Barron's 2-3 weeks before the test. If you want something a little more permanent, you may want to pick up Psychology in Modules by Myers.
