Self studying AP tests.

I'm just looking for personal experiences from those of you who've self studied AP tests. Which one(s)? Textbook or test prep book? What was your plan and how successful were you?

If I was going to self-study an AP, I would avoid:

-Calculus
-Stats - I’m terrible at math
-Physics
-Chemistry
-Foreign Language (unless I was a native, or had a strong background in it)
-English Language (just because of the essay formats)
-All three Histories (I love history, but I need a lecture)

Yeah I’m thinking environmental science, US gov/politics, human geography, psych, world history, and micro/macro Econ would be the most achievable ones.
I’ve already taken/will take euro history, us history, physics b, English, Spanish, calc BC, Chem, and bio at school…

Thoughts?
