Hey I will be a sophomore. I self studied Micro, Macro, psych, and human geo this year. Can I do this next year and how much time will it take. Stat and APES should be easy while I am a history person so I think I can handle world and euro.

Schedule

Pre-calculus
AP Biology
Honors Chemistry
Honors British Literature
Honors World History
Honors Spanish III
Gym
Honors Genetics and Epidemiology
AP Statistics (self-study)
AP World History (self-study)
AP European History(self-study)
AP Environmental Science(self-study)

Self-studying four AP’s? Yikes. Like you said, APES and Stats aren’t tricky but i’ve heard World and Euro are a pain.

I dunno, self-studying 4 seems like a bit too much work.

Replace honors chem with APES (if you can take AP Chem later to fill the requirement). Replace honors World History with AP World History.

Then you can self study Euro and Stats.

That said, don’t spread yourself too thin. It’s better to take less AP’s and score higher than to take more and get lower scores (unless you just need to get the classes out of the way at a lower cost due to economic strain).

Yeah, self-studying 4 APs seems like a bit much… then again, I’m not used to self-studying classes at all.

No honors world available. APES seems really easy so I wouldn’t waste a class on it and honros chem is a prereq to AP Chem. I think I will do it. I don’t think it should be a problem I just got to stick to a schedule. APES and Stat I will wait to cram on while I will be reading from world and euro books almost daily. I think I can make it work.
