self studying calc

hello, i am a senior currently taking AP calc AB, but i want to self study Calc BC and take the AP exam for BC calc( my school offers BC calc but apparently i wasn't good enough to take the course). My question is how would i show colleges that i self studied BC calc. Should i inform it through college apps? essays? any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Take the BC test.

Just take the BC test as Knavish said and it should show up on your high school transcript no?

well, most of the college apps are due by the end of this year and AP exam isn't until May. Besides, my counselor told me that any courses taken outside of school will not be counted towards my transcript.

h e l p ?

Throw in an extra sheet of paper explaining that you are self-studying BC calc. and will take the test at the end of the year. Also explain that your school would not let you enroll in the class.
