I was thinking about self studying ap psych just to get more college credit, yeah but was wondering if there’s a point? I want to major in econ\finance (depends on school), so would the psych credit count toward anything?
Thanks
depends entirely on the college. Look at the AP credit policies at some of the universities you’re interested in.
Thanks for the reply.
I’ve already looked. I mean, since I’m planning on majoring in Finance or econ, does the psych credit still count for something that gets waived? Would it help accelerate me getting a degree despite me not majoring in psychology?
At many places, it fulfills a gen ed requirement. You can look up general education requirements and classes that fulfill them online on each college’s website. If a class that an AP exam gives credit for is listed, that means you have that gen ed covered.
