<p>I recently took precalculus (last year) this year I will be taking Ap Statistics, but i was wondering if i should self study for AP Calc BC. IS BC that much harder than Calc AB? and is AP statistics a time draining class?</p>

<p>Are you, in general, a math student? If you are definitely go for it. Our school’s precalculus course is fairly advanced in curriculum, so I got a 5 on the AB test after it without any extra studying. The next year I took BC and got a 5 on that too; it was really easy. Im taking stats next year, so I don’t know how much time it takes, but seniors at our school said 1 hour a day max. </p>
<p>If you are still able to change classes to BC instead of Stats, I would highly recommend that. It would probably help you a lot more regardless of what major you want to take.</p>
