Self Studying for AP Exams

This year, I wanted to take the AP Comparative Government and Politic exam in May, and I am aiming for a 5. Are there any books or study guides you would recommend, because I will be self studying this course.

I also plan on self studying for the AP Macroeconomics exam and was wondering what books I should get for that, too.

Personally, I find Barrons to be the best prep book for APs by far. They over prepare but that’s a good thing. I have self studied for Macro, and barons is great for it.

I’m using Princeton Review for AP Econ (Macro and Micro) right now and I think it’s fantastic! The chapters are easy to comprehend and the practice quizzes at the end of each chapter help a lot. I haven’t taken AP Gov but a few of my friends have and they used Barron’s. Both APs should be pretty easy to self-study. Good luck.
